What does maMEDS mean?
Our name is not random; it comes from the initials of Medication Adherence Management & Educational Services and fully reflects the mission and vision of our company. Our goal is a holistic approach to medication management, combining technology with education, enhancing collaboration with healthcare professionals, and placing the patient at the centre of every action we take.
The name maMEDS also refers to the phrase "ma meds" or "my meds," emphasising the patient's control over their medication. Through innovative services and digital tools, patients receive the necessary support to effectively organise and manage their medications, ensuring better therapeutic outcomes. At the same time, healthcare professionals can take on a more active and supportive role by monitoring and improving patient adherence.
Management and Education
The concept of management refers to the entire process, from receiving medications, organising them (in personalised pill organisers, mM Planners), ensuring their correct and timely intake (through the digital application), and ultimately achieving the desired therapeutic outcome.
Education (Educational Services) is the second key pillar of our philosophy. Without educating everyone involved in medication management, improving adherence is not possible. Education is not only aimed at patients but also extends to their caregivers and healthcare professionals. At the same time, we seek to raise public awareness about the critical issue of medication adherence. Through educational tools and information, we create the foundation for understanding the importance of proper medication intake.
